Things to do in Krabi Town:
1. Wat Tham Sua:
This place is also famous as Tiger Cave Temple. The temple is a warren of natural caves formed within the dense jungle. The caves here serve as a home for the monks who worship and live here.
To reach the top you have to climb 1272 steps up a limestone tower. From the top, you can enjoy the panoramic 360° view of the Andaman Sea, tropical islands, dramatic limestone cliffs, and verdant rainforests.
This spot is open all year round and the entry is also free.
2. Khao Khanab Nam:
These are two 100-meter tall mountains standing as the gateway to Karabi city with the river flowing between them. Inside, the mountains you will find a very spiritual site, caves with a collection of stalagmites and stalactites.
You can also climb one of the two mountains. Also, visit the Ko Klang fishing village where you will discover a museum and a local craft center.
3. Krabi Emerald Pond:
This pond is locally known as Sa Morakot or crystal pool. It is located in the Thung Teao Forest Natural Park in the Khao Pra-Bang Kram area. The surrounding has spectacular flora and fauna. You can spot rare animals and plant species such as the Pitta Gurney bird.
The water in the pond is crystal clear which makes it great for swimming in. There is also a ladder to help you get in and out. It opens every day during daylight hours.

It is a 1.6 km long manmade footpath starting at Chao Fah Park and ending at the southern end of Thara Park and Sports Complex. Thara Park offers you a plethora of things to do such as strolling on walking trails, relaxing near the pond, playing tennis and football, or watching the boat traffic drift by.
Visit this spot in the early evening as the temperature goes down that time and you can also have a nice and tranquil stroll along the river caressed by the Andaman Sea breezes.
5. Krabi Night Market:
Krabi Night Market, also known as Krabi Town Walking Street or Thanon Khon Dern in Thai, offers a vibrant shopping and dining experience.
In this market, you can find about 50 stalls selling a wide range of products such as t-shirts, fisherman pants, fabric bags, oyster pearl jewelry, plastic tables and chairs, and traditional street food such as grilled satay, barbecue fish, and fried squid egg.
You can also try juices, fruit shakes, and beers. You can enjoy the musical performances throughout the evening. Many hotels provide shuttle service to this famous market. Vendors set up the market every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 17:00 to 22:00 in Soi Maharaj 8.

1. Moo Ping and Khao Niao:
Moo Ping and Khao Niao is grilled pork on skewers served with sticky, or glutinous rice. It is generally served as breakfast.
It is a mix of cilantro roots, garlic, pepper, pork butt or shoulder, sauces, and honey.
2. Khanom Chin:
The name means “boiled noodles”. These are thin rice noodles that are made of fermented flour.
It is served with various stocks such as coconut milk, fish curry, spicy pork sauce, green curry, and chili sauce. It also contains vegetables such as lentils, cucumber, bitter melon, and morning glory.
